We offer two different practice groups for adults: the Strum for Fun group and the performance group. The main differences are that the songs for the Strum for Fun group tend to be a bit easier and they’re played just to have a good time. The performance group ventures out into the community to perform, so those practices are focused on improving and fine-tuning songs.

Where: Las Cruces Village, 3011 Buena Vida Circle, Las Cruces, in the Social Center’s Creative Arts room.

When: Thursday evenings; Strum for Fun is 5:30 – 6:15 p.m.; Performance group practices from  6:30 – 7:30 p.m.

There is never a charge to participate, and we have some loaner ukuleles for those who want to just come to give playing the ukulele a try.

The Strum for Fun group alternates using the Daily Ukulele (yellow cover) and the Daily Ukulele Leap Year Edition (blue cover). We have loaners of those, as well. Come give it a try!
